High School Diploma or GED Proven organizational, mathematical, and communication skills Ability to read and interpret measurements utilizing scales, calipers, and other devices Previous experience performing Quality Inspections Knowledge of and experience with ISO/IATF certification requirements Strong computer skills including the ability to prepare spreadsheets and use Microsoft Office applications to analyze data and trends Preferred Education and
Experience:
Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing/Kaizen Skills Experience dealing with customers and suppliers Advanced degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
Essential Functions:
Creation and issuing of QSI's / work instructions.
Ability to create, submit and maintain all IATF compliance documentation Creation of PPAP packages per customer requirements.
Maintain internal Document and Data Control in QT9 software Aid Post Process Inspections of products prior to shipments when required.
Assists in all phases of employee training when needed.
Aids in control of Quality, Safety, Environmental, and Production documentation.
Completes and maintains records according to production and quality standards.
Ensure that all inspection records are accurate and complete.
Assist Quality Tech with Gage R&R and enter into QT9 module.
Performs all duties in a manner that demonstrates the highest level of quality and safety.
Maintains cleanliness of quality work area.
Other duties as required:
Perform internal manufacturing and product audits per schedule.
Review and enter daily production reports into an Excel spreadsheet.
Review production documents for accuracy and notify the Plant Manager when not correct.
Ensure all tools and devices used to perform measurements of parts have a current calibration label.
Aids quality lead in the manufacturing process when needed.
Assist in performing internal QMS audits Provide timely updates of pertinent quality metrics.
Participate on teams and committees as requested.
Perform QT9 module updates (i.
e.
, Calibration, Document Control, Document Review, etc.
) Maintain QD 446 shop floor documents spreadsheet.
Assist Quality Tech with Safe Launch (GP12) activities and inspections.
Assist the Director of Quality with internal and external customer corrective actions.
Assume other duties as necessary and as assigned by the Director of Quality.
