50 an hour 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago JOB ANNOUNCEMENT HEAP Scheduler/Intake Worker - Hardin County HHWP Community Action Commission, a local non-profit, is seeking a part-time, HEAP Intake Worker within our Community Services department.
The ideal candidate will provide HEAP/CSBG Customers with appointment scheduling, and answer and return voicemail messages and direct calls.
Receive and process mail/walk-in customer information from low-income residents in the Hardin County area for various community service programs, including HEAP SCP/WCP.
Make referrals to other programs and agencies.
This position is part-time, working up to 26 hours per week.
The wage starts at $17.
31/hour and can vary depending on education and experience.

Must be sensitive to the needs of low-income individuals and able to work with individuals of all cultural backgrounds and ages.

Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED Minimum
Experience:
One (1) year experience in Social Services and data input/computer experience.
