This includes grinding, masking, and taping of the materials to be coated and then at the end polishing, sanding, and removal of the masking.
The Painter mixes the coatings according to regulations for proper temperature as required.
They set up and operate the equipment to coat products in a high velocity low pressure (HVLP) system.
At times, coating is done by hand.
The Painter is responsible for the inspections of completed work for conformance to specifications.
They may perform additional tasks in a manufacturing environment as needed.
Qualifications Must have minimum of 2 years experience in industrial painting Must be able to follow and read blueprints Knowledge of proper psi/proper technique and dry time required Must be mechanically inclined, production oriented and safety and quality conscious Basic math skills are required General knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices General computer programs are preferred Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented team player Able to stand for at least 10 hours with constant and vigorous hand, arm, hip motion and bending and stooping are involved EOE/M/F/VETS/DISABILITY XJ6 Quick Apply.
